Amira – Life OS ("Amira," "we," "us," or "our") is a personal AI assistant application designed to help you organize and improve your daily life. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our application and services available at myamira.com and through our mobile apps.

By using Amira, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our services.

Amira collects information that you voluntarily provide to help you track and manage different areas of your life. The categories of data we collect include:

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Amira application and its features
• To personalize your experience, including AI-powered insights and recommendations
• To process your requests and deliver the organizational tools you use
• To generate summaries, reports, and analytics about your personal data for your benefit
• To send you service-related notifications (such as reminders you configure)
• To diagnose technical issues and improve app performance

Your data is used exclusively to provide and improve your personal experience within Amira. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Amira uses the Claude AI model by Anthropic to power its conversational assistant features. When you interact with the AI assistant, relevant portions of your conversation and context may be sent to Anthropic's API for processing.

Anthropic processes this data solely to generate responses and does not use your data to train their models. For more information, please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted PostgreSQL database platform. We implement the following security measures:

• Row Level Security (RLS):Database-level policies ensure that each user can only access their own data. No user can read, modify, or delete another user's information.
• Encryption: Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
• Authentication: We use secure authentication providers (Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, and email OTP) and do not store passwords.
• Access controls: Only authorized personnel have access to infrastructure, and access is limited to what is necessary for operating and maintaining the service.

We use the following third-party services to operate Amira. Each processes your data only as necessary to provide their respective services:

• Supabase: Database hosting, authentication, and storage infrastructure.
• Anthropic (Claude API): AI language model processing for the conversational assistant.
• Apple: Authentication via Apple Sign-In.
• Google: Authentication via Google Sign-In, and — only if you choose to connect it — access to your Google Calendar and Gmail. See the section on Google user data below.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with any other third parties for their commercial purposes.

Connecting your Google account is entirely optional. Amira works without it. If you do connect it, this is exactly what happens to your Google data.

What we access. Your Google Calendar (events, and the calendars you own or subscribe to) and, if you grant it, your Gmail. We request the narrowest permissions the features need, and each feature only appears once you have granted the permission it depends on.

Why. Calendar access lets Amira show your real schedule, protect the time you have blocked, and create or change events when you ask her to. Gmail access lets her tell you what is waiting in your inbox, draft replies, and send email when you explicitly confirm it. Every action that sends an email or invites another person requires your confirmation first.

Where it goes.Your Google access tokens are stored encrypted. Calendar events are synced into your own private area of our database so the app can show them quickly. Email content is read at the moment you ask, and the parts needed to answer you are sent to Anthropic's API to generate that answer. Every row is protected by row-level security so no other user can read it.

What we never do. We do not sell your Google data, we do not share it with advertisers, we do not use it to train any AI or machine learning model, and no human at Amira reads your email or your calendar.

Limited Use.Amira's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Turning it off. You can disconnect Google at any time from Settings, or revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting stops all future access, and the calendar data we had synced is deleted. Deleting your Amira account deletes it all.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• With service providers listed in Section 6, solely to operate the application
• When required by law, regulation, or legal process
• To protect the rights, safety, or property of Amira, our users, or the public
• With your explicit consent

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: You can update or correct your data at any time through the app.
• Deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data. Upon request, we will permanently delete your data from our systems within 30 days.
• Export: You can request an export of your data in a portable format.
• Withdraw consent: You can stop using the service at any time and request data deletion.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory obligations.

Amira is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at isabellafernandezah@gmail.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
